Metal separation lines

BlueSorter

for non-ferrous scrap

Separation lines for nonferrous metals are positioned downstream of a ferrous separation plant and play a key role in effectively separating metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, and other light alloys.

The careful separation of nonferrous metals not only helps reduce the environmental impact of waste, but also represents a significant economic opportunity due to the intrinsic value of these materials.

Technologies Used

  • Conveyor Belt and Sorting Systems:
These systems transport and distribute materials along the separation line, ensuring a continuous flow that aligns with various material separation techniques.
  • Trommel:
Rotating, perforated and inclined cylindrical drum allows separation of materials in different sizes.
  • Eddy Current Separators:
These separators are used to isolate nonferrous metals from nonmetallic materials by generating an alternating magnetic field. This field induces currents within the nonferrous metals, causing them to `jump´out of the material stream.
  • X-Ray and Optical Sensors:
Advanced technologies that detect and seperate nonferrous metals based on their chemical composition and physical properties, enabling precise separation.
