Zato North America, Corp. (hereinafter, referred to as “Zato”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to safeguard it. This privacy policy (hereinafter, also referred to as “Privacy Policy”) explains and informs you about our policies regarding online visitors and customers information, to provide you with a level of comfort and confidence about data treatment. By using our website (hereinafter, also referred to as the “Website”), you fully agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and undertake to abide by it. The Privacy Policy informs you about our practices regarding collecting, using, safeguarding and disclosing personally identifiable and other information we collect, or that you voluntary provide to us through the Website, and how you can contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Article 2. Use of Personally Identifiable Information.

(a) Scope. We use Personally Identifiable Information collected from you consistently with the purpose for which is provided. In addition to the foregoing, Personally Identifiable Information collected on the Website will be used for legitimate business and marketing purposes, including, among others, to: (i) fulfill a Website user request (e.g., create log in credentials, brochure fulfillment); (ii) provide you with email alerts, event registrations, and other notices concerning our products or services marketing or promotional materials, including email, price quotes, save or share content); (iii) respond to your comments or requests for information; (iv) make the user experience more customer friendly; (v) improve the Website; (vi) search or conduct testing, analysis; (vii) compile user Data that is stored in our corporate database (for Website visitors in the U.S. this Data may be used for marketing and other purposes); (viii) match Data collected on the Website with Data about you that we collect through other sources; and/or (ix) comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

In accordance with Section 1(b) above, we can collect Non-Personally Identifiable Information on the Website that may be used to: (i) compile aggregate and statistical data to augment the Website design and to identify popular features; (ii) measure Website activity to improve the Website; (iii) provide you content of interest based on pages visited and items viewed; and/or (iv) make the user experience more customer friendly.

(b) Performing Analysis. In addition to the Section 3(a) above, the Website collects and uses Non-Personally Identifiable Information for performing analytics on the user’s experience while visiting our Website. (e) Disclosure. We may be required to disclose your Data to other third-parties: (i) as may be required by applicable law; (ii) to protect Zato’s Nort America legal rights to the extent authorized or permitted by law, in the context of business transactions; and/or (iii) in an emergency where the health or safety of an individual may be endangered. In addition, in the event of a reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, or other transfer or disposition of all or any portion of our business, we may transfer your Data to successor entities or parties.

Article 5. Storage and Retention; Data Security

(a) Storage and Retention. Personally Identifiable Information that you provide to us in the course of using the Website features may be gathered and stored in one or more of our corporate databases. We will retain your Data until: (i) the purpose for storing them no longer applies; (ii) you revoke your consent to store them; and/or (iii) you request its deletion in accordance with Section 7(c) below.
