Privacy policy
Zato North America, Corp. (hereinafter, referred to as “Zato”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to safeguard it. This privacy policy (hereinafter, also referred to as “Privacy Policy”) explains and informs you about our policies regarding online visitors and customers information, to provide you with a level of comfort and confidence about data treatment. By using our website (hereinafter, also referred to as the “Website”), you fully agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and undertake to abide by it. The Privacy Policy informs you about our practices regarding collecting, using, safeguarding and disclosing personally identifiable and other information we collect, or that you voluntary provide to us through the Website, and how you can contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
Article 1. Collecting Information.

For the purpose of the above Section 1(b), we may use “cookies,” session logs, banner ads or links, third-party networks that serve user-requested emails and third-party click tracking analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, BrightEdge and Website improve; these companies may also use such tools) to collect Non-Personally Identifiable Information about Website visitors and customers.

Article 2. Use of Personally Identifiable Information.
(a) Scope. We use Personally Identifiable Information collected from you consistently with the purpose for which is provided. In addition to the foregoing, Personally Identifiable Information collected on the Website will be used for legitimate business and marketing purposes, including, among others, to: (i) fulfill a Website user request (e.g., create log in credentials, brochure fulfillment); (ii) provide you with email alerts, event registrations, and other notices concerning our products or services marketing or promotional materials, including email, price quotes, save or share content); (iii) respond to your comments or requests for information; (iv) make the user experience more customer friendly; (v) improve the Website; (vi) search or conduct testing, analysis; (vii) compile user Data that is stored in our corporate database (for Website visitors in the U.S. this Data may be used for marketing and other purposes); (viii) match Data collected on the Website with Data about you that we collect through other sources; and/or (ix) comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Article 3. Use of Non-Personally Identifiable Information.
(a) Scope. In accordance with Section 1(b) above, we can collect Non-Personally Identifiable Information on the Website that may be used to: (i) compile aggregate and statistical data to augment the Website design and to identify popular features; (ii) measure Website activity to improve the Website; (iii) provide you content of interest based on pages visited and items viewed; and/or (iv) make the user experience more customer friendly.
(b) Performing Analysis. In addition to the Section 3(a) above, the Website collects and uses Non-Personally Identifiable Information for performing analytics on the user’s experience while visiting our Website. This analysis is performed on an aggregate level and does not identify you or your Information and it may: (i) involve the use of a third-party vendor acting on behalf of the Website; (ii) be combined with data collected by third parties on other Websites and apps and across devices, and/or (iii) include the use of session and/or persistent cookies to track user movement across the Website.

The Website does not share, sell, rent, release, disclose, disseminate, make available, transfer, or otherwise communicate orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means, Information with independent companies or third-parties for their own use for monetary or other valuable consideration.
(e) Disclosure. We may be required to disclose your Data to other third-parties: (i) as may be required by applicable law; (ii) to protect Zato’s Nort America legal rights to the extent authorized or permitted by law, in the context of business transactions; and/or (iii) in an emergency where the health or safety of an individual may be endangered. In addition, in the event of a reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, or other transfer or disposition of all or any portion of our business, we may transfer your Data to successor entities or parties.
Article 5. Storage and Retention; Data Security
(a) Storage and Retention. Personally Identifiable Information that you provide to us in the course of using the Website features may be gathered and stored in one or more of our corporate databases. We will retain your Data until: (i) the purpose for storing them no longer applies; (ii) you revoke your consent to store them; and/or (iii) you request its deletion in accordance with Section 7(c) below.
(b) Information Safeguard. Safeguarding Information of visitors to the Website is important to us. While no systems, applications or websites are 100% secure, we employ technical and organizational safeguards designed to maintain accuracy and to protect Information from accidental loss, misuse, alteration and unauthorized access or disclosure and to comply with applicable legal requirements for information security. Article 6. Links and Third-Party Website; Children’s Privacy.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Website provides links to other third-party websites, including access to content, products and services. We encourage you to review the privacy notices, statements and/or policies of all websites that you visit, including those whose links are provided, so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your Information. The Website is not responsible for the privacy statements or notices, content or data handling practices on other third-party websites.
(b) Children’s Privacy. Zato understands the importance of safeguarding the Personally Identifiable Information of children, which we consider to be an individual under the age of 13 or the equivalent age as specified by law in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly intend to collect, use and storage any such Personally Identifiable Information of children. If a child has provided us with Personally Identifiable Information, a parent, guardian or custodian of that child may contact us as provided in Section 8(a) below. We will then make reasonable efforts to delete from the database storing such Information for the Website any Data of that child.
Article 7. Rights to Data.
(a) Data Access and Update. The Website offers transparency to online visitors and consumer by providing rights related to the Information we collect. We grant you the right to obtain free information about your stored personal Data, at any time and a copy of this Information. In order to ensure that your Data is correct and update, you may review and update your profile by logging into your account or by contacting us accordingly to Section 8(a) below.
(b) Data Rectification and Correction. The Website grants you the right to obtain, without undue delay, the rectification of your inaccurate Data, if any. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, we ensure you the right to have incomplete Data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement.
(c) Data Deletion. You have the right to request the deletion, without undue delay, any of your Personally Identifiable Information that we collected from you. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable request, we will delete your Information from our records unless an exception applies in accordance to Section 7(d) below.
(d) Exception. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may deny your deletion request if retaining the Information is necessary for our service providers to: (i) complete the action for which we collected the Information; (ii) provide a good or service that you requested; (iii) take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you; (iv) comply with a legal obligation; and/or (v) make other internal and lawful uses of that Information compatible with the context in which you provided it.
