Blue Devil Zato

Recycling Today talks about us! The material recycling trade magazine, which informs recycling professionals about the latest industry trends, published an article about the business relationship developed between our team and Morris Scrap Metal Co. Inc., a US company specialising in the collection, recycling and sale of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Neil Morris, the third-generation owner of Morris Scrap Metal Co. Inc., shared with great enthusiasm in the magazine the considerable benefits that the purchase of our Blue Devil shredder has brought to his company in scrap processing.

Neil recounted how, while at first the Morris Scrap operators might have been skeptical about the machine’s capabilities, once they started it up, they realised they were dealing with a ‘scrap eating monster’ capable of returning a recycled product that delighted its buyers. The resulting material is, in fact, much more dense, which makes it easier to load the trucks and reach maximum weight without the need for additional packaging.

This was made possible by the 620-horsepower engines with which we equipped the Blue Devil shredder, as well as the slow-rotating counter-rotating shear shafts, coupled with 4 planetary gearboxes, with which we guarantee excellent efficiency.

What’s more, Neil pointed out that our customer service is extremely efficient and was an invaluable help in getting the machine up and running, despite the six-hour time difference between us and King Mountain, US.

We are convinced that the Blue Devil shredder is the perfect solution for Morris Scrap Metal Co. Inc. and that it can meet its need to handle extremely coarse scrap metal effectively and efficiently. Neil Morris has expressed his satisfaction with the results achieved, and we are confident that his purchase will continue to bring him great benefits for many years to come.
