Our website: what we’ve done to minimize its impact

Every web page consumes energy: on the servers that host it, on the networks that transmit it, and on the devices of those who visit it. Data centers and data transmission networks contribute to global electricity consumption and CO2 emissions.

We cannot eliminate this impact, but we have tried to minimize it in the areas where we can take action.

Energy: where our website is hosted

The website is hosted via the Cloudflare network, which is included in the Green Web Dataset maintained by the Green Web Foundation. This is a nonprofit organization that collects and verifies publicly available information on the energy used by web service providers. The verification pertains to the content delivery network, not necessarily the server that hosts the website.

Website carbon class B

Page weight: less data, less energy

The site is designed in accordance with the best practices outlined in the Web Sustainability Guidelines. We have simplified the structure, compressed the images into WebP format, and removed unnecessary elements.
